Newcastle, EnglandFounded by John Boyle and Robin Leighton in the village of Wylam, the brewery was originally located in the potting shed on their farm. Bringing on another partner, and all round legend, Dave Stone, the brewery set about a shift from great local cask ales, to full throttle modern beer styles. The brewery now calls ‘The Palace of Arts’ it’s home, having taken residence in a stunning pavilion in Newcastle and created arguably the most beautiful city centre brewery in the country.
